Elizabeth “Liz” Lusco steps into the Spotlight . . . .

It has been twelve weeks since Liz Lusco was chosen to be the first Makeover Birmingham™ candidate. On Thursday, December 18th Liz arrived by Camelot Limo to Restaurant “G” for her grand “Finale” party with family, friends, and sponsors. Awaiting her arrival outside “G” with cameras ready were ABC 33/40, Birmingham Magazine photographer, Bones Long, and Lisa Cole of Lisa Cole Photography, to snap the first shots of Liz’s arrival. Soft Rock 94.5 radio personality JT was present to MC Liz’s party and to welcome the new “Liz”. With cameras flashing and lights focused on Liz, it was evident that she truly was transformed both inside and out. She was radiant and exuded much self-confidence as she spoke about her cosmetic facial plastic surgery and aesthetic dental surgery. Dr. Daniel Rousso of Rousso Facial Plastic Surgery, and Dr. Paul Kock of Koch Cosmetic Dentistry were present to discuss Liz’s surgery and to celebrate her completed transformation. Liz’s facial cosmetic results and gleaming smile are testaments to the extent of improvement that Dr. Rousso and Dr. Koch can provide.

Liz is continuing her fitness program with Luan Nguyen and the Fitness Together Team. Thus far, they have helped her to lose 10 pounds and 11 inches. Liz says that she now has a healthy heart rate and a renewed energy level. Liz ‘s eye care visits resulted in new contact lenses and glasses sponsored by Dr. Jack Schaeffer of Schaeffer Eye Care. All of the sponsors that contributed to Liz’s total transformation were on hand to wish her well. Lori Egea of Oak Street Hair Group created a very sassy hairdo that was extremely becoming to Liz and the change of hair color by Charles, also of Oak Street Hair Group, definitely added to Liz’s overall radiance. Liz’s makeup by Jestina Howard of AWARE cosmetics and Parisian was flawless. Liz credits her improved complexion changes to OBAGI NUDERM which she was placed on by Dr. Rousso before she underwent surgery. This skincare regimen has completely softened the texture of her facial skin resulting in what has become know in the skincare industry as the OBAGI “glow”. Liz’s wardrobe and shoes for the evening were provided by Gus Mayer. Liz will be wearing a Les Copain suit provided by Saks Fifth Avenue on Friday January 9th for her television interview on the Good Afternoon Alabama show.

It was very evident at the party that Liz felt very fortunate to have been chosen to be the recipient of so many healthful and aesthetic changes at this time in her life. She is adjusting to seeing a new youthful looking “Liz” and is planning to spend the Holidays with family and friends. Liz will be leading a much healthier lifestyle now and is looking forward to sharing all of her experiences with everyone.
